Good fruit reveals good character

With the current restoration of apostolic ministry to the church, it is necessary to have biblical standards that believers can measure against those with apostolic claims. The signs of an apostle can include signs, wonder, miracles, church planting, team building, and prophetic confirmation. This is only half of the equation. The other half is apostolic character. Character is often overlooked as a true sign of apostolic ministry.

A ministry must be judged by its fruit. The TCNT says that by the fruit of their lives that ye will know such men. Signs, wonders, and miracles are not the only criteria for true apostolic ministry. We know them by their fruit, not by their gifts. An apostolic ministry without the fruit of the spirit is dangerous to the church. False ministries cannot bring forth good fruit.
